Salim Hosein, MD

Dr. Hosein is based at New Life Weight Loss Center in Herrin, IL. Dr. Hosein performs a wide range of general and minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgeries. As a Bariatric/Endocrine/GI surgeon in Southern Illinois, he will help individuals achieve their personal health and weight-loss goals.

Dr. Hosein began his medical career at Alpert Medical School of Brown University where he completed his residency in 2014. Dr. Hosein completed his advanced GI minimally invasive and bariatric surgery fellowship from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
